About Point Shores Genealogy
Point Shores Genealogy is owned and operated by Kala McCotter-Mullen, PLCGS.
Kala is a certified genealogist and writer based in Lambton County, Ontario. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History in 2014 and has spent the last fourteen years doing her own genealogical research building her own family trees and helping friends with their research.
Kala earned Professional Learning Certificates in Genealogical Studies (PLCGS) in Methodology and Canadian Records from the International Institute of Genealogical Studies. The IIGS is a professional trade school in which students gain credentials by earning 40 course credits. Her specialty is Canadian records and preserving family stories.
